Think malnutrition only happens in the 'third' world?
Think again...

i know everyone here has different feelings about "religion/god, etc.
" i now consider myself christian, got baptized in a baptist church, etc.. i have my own business and have two jw's that occasionally work for me.
my mom is a devout jw.. the other day for a reason that came up unrelated to religion/god, a groomer who works for me was asking me about the church woman's bible study i'm involved with while we were working.
Yancey's What's so Amazing About Grace? is fantastic.
It even challenges 'regular' Christians' attitudes - never mind those of JWs!
However, I think the answer to your question lies in your initial post:
The other day for a reason that came up unrelated to religion/god, a groomer who works for me was asking me about the church woman's bible study I'm involved with while we were working. I answered her honestly, but didn't want to bring up anything controversial.
There is no better witness to the truth than to be yourself.
For now, forget about bombarding your colleague with refutations of her beliefs - like Happydad says, it probably won't work, as when someone is being 'attacked' the more likely reaction is to 'pull up the drawbridge'. You might be able to do the refuting later, but you need to lay the foundations first.
my norton security sub exprires in a couple of weeks.
i've heard a lot of negatives about norton mostly about the resources norton gobbles up which slows down everything else.
my computer does seem to be be a bit pokey at times.
If you switch to AVG, make sure your Norton is completely removed first - they have a serious conflict and your computer will run even slower!
(I switched to AVG)

Ok - shoot me LOL!!
I reckon its because current musical trends make it easier to sing with an American 'drawl' (no offence intended - I just can't think of another way to describe) than many UK accents.
today the weather in sw ohio is gorgeous.
breezy, low 80's, lots of sunshine.
the kids and i ate breakfast on the patio.
from a shelter for abused/homeless animals.. she's gray, black, and white.
one eye is larger than the other, and she's charmed the entire household.. my g'daughter named her hannah - after the biblical hannah, of course.
i'm back at work and my g'daughter at school, so we had to leave her in an enclosure.. it just about broke our hearts.. sylvia.
Enjoy your new kitty - and good on ya for getting a rescue one! I love the name!
One of mine has just come home from the vets after having an op to remove a lump from his shoulder - he's looking a bit bald and has a massive wound - 15 stitches, ouch! Not curbed his appetite though, he's eating everything in sight lol! Meanwhile emo has a massive wound in her bank account too...
i am getting very disturbing e-mails from people in the u.s.a. nobody on here.
but they are pulling obama down in a really .
nasty way.
It's not those Westboro' baptist nuts is it Grace?
They believe he's the antichrist and have set up a seperate website 'promoting' their idea.
with happiness and fulfillment.
every day i step out into the world, bombarded with the realization that everything is as it should be--the grass is green, the sky is blue, the sea is green, and the damp breeze tickles my neck and wakens my senses.
everywhere you look, it's jovial meaningfulness and sunlit backdrops.
Have you ever thought about how a clock ticking is like a heart beat?
and one day when you least expect, it's gonna stop.
are you ready to die?
we recently got booklets through our door...anyone else in britain get them?...are they preparing us for something?.

what do they know?...or what are they planning?
sounds similar to the 'Home Guard' they retained post WW2 until the late 1950's/early 60's? My dad was in that - he had a little handbook which gave instructions for all kinds of management - first aid, evacuation, crowd control etc in the event of a major attack. I think the Russians were considered the biggest threat back then.
We are on high alert at the moment - remember all those 'students' they arrested last week. Maybe they might have had something planned for Glasgow and other major UK cities?
He is risen indeed! ALLELUIA!!!
may the joy and hope of this season fill your life today and always
